As India hosts the ongoing 44th Chess Olympiad, Grandmaster Rameshbabu Praggnanandhaa played and wriggled out of an inferior position, against Swiss Grandmaster Yannick Pelletier on August 02.
While speaking to ANI, R Praggnanandhaa expressed being unhappy with his performance in the second round. “I was happy with my performance in the first game, but I think I did not play well in the second game, although I won that game. I'm happy that the Chess Olympiad is taking place in Chennai. We have the chance to win a medal if we play well,” he said.
