Newly-wed Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on Monday released three official photographs, including a group shot with their family members, to mark their marriage.

The pictures, taken by celebrity fashion photographer Alexi Lubomirski, include one of the happy couple and two group photographs with bridesmaids and close members of the family, including their parents and Queen Elizabeth II.

“The couple would like to thank everyone who took part in the celebrations on Saturday. Their Royal Highnesses are delighted with these official portraits,” Kensington Palace said in a statement on Monday.

"They feel so lucky to have been able to share their day with all those gathered in Windsor and also all those who watched the wedding on television across the UK, Commonwealth, and around the world,” the statement added.

The wedding portrait of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex shows them smiling together on the east terrace of Windsor Castle, soon after their wedding ceremony at St. George’s Chapel.

The formal group shot also features Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland, who was the only member of the bride’s close family to attend the ceremony. The other members of the royal household in the frame include Prince Harry’s brother, Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, who acted as best man at the weekend, and their father, Prince Charles.

The young bridesmaids and page boys are in two sets of photographs – with three-year-old Princess Charlotte on her mother Kate Middleton’s lap in one of them and sitting on the floor in the other. Her brother Prince George, 4, is also seen posing among the 10 children chosen by the royal couple to be part of the formal wedding ceremony.

"This has been a beautiful chapter in my career and life, that I will happily never forget," said Lubomirski, who had also take the couple’s engagement photographs at Frogmore House in Windsor last year.

"It has been an incredible honour and privilege to document The Duke and Duchess of Sussex's inspiring journey of love, hope and family; from the engagement photos, all the way through to the official wedding and family portraits on Saturday,” he said.
