Moscow: Russian President Vladimir Putin's trip to Kaliningrad on Thursday is not intended to send a message to the NATO military alliance, the TASS news agency cited Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov as saying.

The Kaliningrad region is an exclave sandwiched between NATO members Poland and Lithuania.
