Ganesh Chaturthi, a 10-day festival that celebrates the birth of Lord Ganesha, the god of wisdom and prosperity, is being celebrated with great zeal and fervour by people across India. This year, celebrations for Ganesh Chaturthi began on August 31 and will conclude on September 9 with Ganesh Visarjan.
