Kerala election results: ‘It’s a significant victory,’ says CPI(M)'s Prakash Karat as LDF leads in early trends

As the early trends of the state assembly elections show LDF leading in Kerala, CPI(M)'s Prakash Karat extended his greetings to the public for vesting their faith in the Pinarayi Vijayan-led government. Calling it a significant victory, Prakash Karat said that in past 40 years no government has been re-elected for a second successive term. This shows people of Kerala have appreciated performance of Pinarayi Vijayan govt, the way it tackled floods, Covid and pro-people development. This victory has improved the majority that the LDF had in last election,” said Karat.
