The film's grossed around Rs 98 lakh in three days despite mixed reviews. While the figure is lower than the Rs 1.30 crore grossed by the<em> Irumbu Thirai</em> in its opening weekend, many feel this is not a cause for concern as the P S Mithran-helmed thriller had hit the screens in 'pre-Covid times'.<br /><br /><em>Chakra </em>collected Rs 31 lakh on the opening day much to the delight of fans. The star, however, suffered a bit of a setback when her film <em>Maara</em>, an adaptation of the Malayalam movie <em>Charlie</em>, released on an OTT platform as opposed to in theatres.
