<p class="title">Casting director Mukesh Chhabra said he still plans to direct the debut film of late actor Vinod Khanna's son Sakshi.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Chhabra was all set to launch Sakshi in a film, to be produced by filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The project, however, has been on hold for quite some time and the debutante director hopes to revisit it soon.</p>.<p class="bodytext">"I was supposed to make it three years back and then Vinod Khanna sir passed away and Sakshi was in a different state. I believe there is a time for every film. Then I moved on and now I am making 'Kizzy aur Manny'.</p>.<p class="bodytext">"It has been two-three years now and I hope the film will happen with Sakshi but once I go back to the film then we will have to see where we stand right now. But I will make that film for sure," Chhabra told PTI.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Chhabra is currently busy working on his directorial debut "Kizzy aur Manny", a remake of the 2014 Hollywood film "The Fault In Our Stars".</p>.<p class="bodytext">The film features his long-time friend Sushant Singh Rajput and newcomer Sanjana Sanghi.</p>.<p class="bodytext">"I felt like telling this story so I am doing it. Even if it is a remake, you have to think fresh as you to make it Indianised keeping our audience in mind and at the same time maintain the purity of the story. There is a big responsibility," he adds.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Chhabra says so far the shoot is progressing well and the film should hopefully wrap up by December.</p>.<p class="bodytext">A R Rahman is providing the music for the feature and Chhabra feels lucky to have him on board the project.</p>.<p class="bodytext">"I am very happy and lucky that he said yes to me. I just went to him and said this is my first film and this is the story. I told him 'I would like you to do the music'. He heard the story, liked it and said yes. Everyone loves Rahman sir's music and it is a big thing that he doing music for my debut film."</p>.<p class="bodytext">The film will release next year.</p>
