Haridwar Police seizes demonetized currency amounting to Rs 4.47 crore, 7 held

Uttarakhand Police on January 15 seized demonetized currency notes of worth Rs 4.47 crore in Haridwar. The Special Task Force arrested 7 persons involved in this regard. "Probe is underway. They were arrested by Special Task Force. Income Tax Department informed about the case,” the Haridwar SP, Swatantra Kumar said while addressing the mediapersons. Further investigation is underway.
