No connect between Bajrang Dal and Chaitra Kundapur: VHP leader
There is no connection between Bajrang Dal and Chaitra Kundapur, said Vishwa Hindu Parishad Pranth Joint Secretary Sharan Pumpwell.
Addressing reporters at Vishwashree, the VHP office in Kadri, Mangaluru on Thursday, he stated that Chaitra, who is the prime accused in the MLA ticket scam, is not a member of Bajrang Dal or Vishwa Hindu Parishad.
VHP or Bajrang Dal will not support acts such as money for tickets, Sharan said, adding that Chaitra had been invited on several occasions to speak on the platforms of Bajrang Dal as she was known to be a good speaker.
“Let the investigation be conducted and the culprits be punished. The rest of the accused should also be arrested,” Sharan said. (DHNS)
