<p>The daughter of separatist leader Shabir Shah, who is lodged in Delhi's Tihar jail, has topped the CBSE Class XII exams in Jammu and Kashmir, scoring 97.8%.</p>.<p>Suma Shah, a student of Delhi Public School in Srinagar, scored 489 out of 500 marks thereby securing the highest marks among all CBSE affiliated schools in the state.<br /><br />Her father was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate in July last year in connection with over a decade-old money laundering case against him for terror financing.</p>.<p>The ED had also filed a charge sheet against Shabir Shah that had accused him of being in touch with Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Toiba founder Hafiz Saeed.<br /><br />Meanwhile, Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti congratulated Suma for her performance.</p>.<p>"Congratulations to Sama Shabir Shah for securing 97.8% marks in the Class XII examination. Her hard work & determination has helped her overcome all odds & she is truly an inspiration for the youth of our state," she tweeted.</p>
