<p>Suspecting that Maoists would have entered Kodagu district from Wayanad in Kerala, the Anti-Naxal Force (ANF) personnel have intensified combing operations inside the forest situated on the border of Kerala, in the district. </p>.<p>The combing operations are being carried out for the last four days in the district.</p>.<p>On Saturday, the ANF personnel from Karkala and Kodagu jointly carried out combing operations. They are on high alert at border areas of Kutta, Karike and Makutta.</p>.<p>The combing operations were carried out at Birunani, Naladi, Udumbe, Haladi and Sampaje forests too. </p>.<p>A source said that some areas in Bhagamandala, Napoklu and Virajpet have been considered as hypersensitive and the police are on high alert in these areas.</p>
