Annual seminar at Brindavan Education Trust on November 9 in Bengaluru

Bengaluru: Brindavan Education Trust (BET) will organise its annual 'Roopa Shiv Kumar Memorial Seminar' at Viveka Auditorium, Jayanagar, on November 9. 

This year's seminar is titled 'Empowering Educators: Integrating Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) and Universal Design for Learning (UDL) in Schools', said BET, which has been working in the field of special needs and inclusion since 1993. 

Explaining the significance of the topic, BET said that the need of the hour was to explore and empower teachers to a clearer understanding of how UDL and SEL work together and how they could help formulate a design for both the neurotypical and the neurodiverse.
