Bengaluru gears up for New Year's Eve with 600 CCTVs, watchtowers; Over 8,000 cops deployed

Bengalureans will be able to party until 1 am on New Year’s Eve. The city’s major party hubs and high streets will be under strict vigil with 18 IPS police officers overseeing the bandobast. At least 8,000 officials will be deployed across the city and more than 600 CCTV cameras have been installed in the city's main areas.
