<p class="rtejustify">The third edition of the British Medical Journal (BMJ) Conclave was held here on Sunday through two parallel and separate tracks: Effectiveness of Clinical Decision Support in Clinical Outcomes and E-resources within Libraries. </p>.<p class="bodytext rtejustify">BMJ is among the leading medical journals in the world. </p>.<p class="bodytext rtejustify">The event, conducted by BMJ India, was to debate how medical institutions and hospitals can improve health care quality through the use of modern tools such as clinical decision support systems, the organisers said in a statement. </p>.<p class="bodytext rtejustify">The event was attended by doctors from medical institutions across Bengaluru and reputable hospitals. Delegates, speakers and dignitaries appreciated the utility and importance of BMJ Best Practice, a clinical decision support tool presented by BMJ and demonstrated at the conference, the statement added. </p>.<p class="bodytext rtejustify">The chief guest for the clinicians’ session was Dr S Sacchidanand, Vice-Chancellor, Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), while Dr H Veerabhadrappa, president, Karnataka Medical Council, was the guest of honour. The speakers of the session were Dr George Noel Fernandes, Medical Director, Continental Hospitals, and Dr Alben Sigamani, Group Head-Clinical Research, Narayana Healthcare. </p>
