They are gluten-free and are considered superfoods. “We only use millets like Pearl Millet (Bajra), Thinai Millet, Varagu Millet, Finger Millet (Raagi), Sorghum, Jowar exclusively instead of white rice, wheat flour, vanaspati, artificial colours or sugar making it a very healthy meal. We also use bamboo rice, red rice and black rice,” says Yuvajith Venkatanarayan, one of the owners.</p>.<p>The restaurant has a delightful ambience what with all things native and the walls adorned with Warli paintings. Yuvajith says that they chalked out a menu after discussing with the women in the family.</p>.<p>Further, a chance meeting with Krishna Murthy, who developed the concept of using only millets while cooking in Chennai, inspired him to open a restaurant in Chennai and after its successful run, another chain in Bengaluru. The Bengaluru outlet recently completed a year and Yuvajith is upbeat about opening another branch in Malleshwaram shortly.<br />He says the restaurant follows the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), conducts quality control checks and also interacts with customers to get a feedback.
