<p class="bodytext">The Karnataka State Commission for Protection of Child Rights has agreed to convene a meeting with the Baldwin school management and parents on Monday to discuss the reported excess fee collection by the institution.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Earlier, the commission had issued summons to the school over not disclosing the list of textbooks despite repeated requests by the parents.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Some parents had also complained and held a protest against the ‘exorbitant’ fees the management collected. The management has issued a statement that reads: “All details would be displayed on the premises, showing full details so that the parents can buy wherever they want.”</p>.<p class="bodytext">The management has further assured that they would talk to XSeed and SAAR to make books available everywhere.</p>.<p class="bodytext">“Our management would also talk to publishers to make one book instead of four books per subject if the parents<br />decide to do so,” it further added.</p>
