<p>Bengaluru: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday dialled former chief minister Basavaraj Bommai and enquired about his health.</p><p>In his post on X (formerly Twitter), Bommai said Sunday being ‘Shubha Ashtami day,’ it was his luckiest day as he received a call from the PM.</p>.<p>The former CM is recuperating in hospital after undergoing a heart surgery recently.</p><p>“Shubha Ashtami Day, it’s my most luckiest day. My hearty thanks to our beloved Prime Minister Sri @narendramodi for calling me to enquire my health while taking rest in hospital. Your’s concern and wishes has increased by self confidence. I will get well soon and return to serve people (sic),” Bommai posted on X, formerly Twitter.</p>
