<p class="bodytext">Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa has said that he was confident of winning the majority.</p>.<p class="bodytext">“I am confident of winning the majority. My government will fulfill all promises made to people during the elections, including crop loan waiver in the next two to three days. I call upon the BJP workers to start making preparations for celebrations,” he told reporters on Friday.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Meanwhile, speaking to reporters in Shivamogga, BJP leader K S Eshwarappa said many Congress legislators were unhappy about the party’s decision on unconditional support to JD(S) which has won only 38 seats in the election.</p>.<p class="bodytext">“We are in constant touch with such legislators of both the parties,” he said.</p>.<p class="bodytext">However, JD(S) state president H D Kumaraswamy said that MLA’s (belonging to JD(S)-Congress combine) should not get carried away with the BJP’s offers.</p>.<p class="bodytext">“I will stand by you and will not let you down. Let us all fight the BJP together,” he said.</p>
