<p>Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy, on Monday, set aside important official assignments to accompany his wife and JD(S) candidate Anitha Kumaraswamy to Ramanagara.</p>.<p>Kumaraswamy was supposed to chair a meeting pertaining to the incomplete Karanja irrigation project in Bidar at Vidhana Soudha at 10 am.</p>.<p>The chief minister, however, chose to reschedule the meeting and held a press conference on the bypolls at the JD(S) party office at 11 am. He left for Ramanagara soon after.</p>.<p>After returning to Bengaluru, Kumaraswamy held the meeting with the elected representatives and officials of Bidar on the Karanja project.</p>
