<p>Senior Congress leader K N Rajanna has been slapped with a show-cause notice for his “embarrassing” remarks on Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy.</p>.<p>Rajanna, a former legislator, is in the dock this time for referring to Kumaraswamy as a “thief” over the controversial audio clip and for criticising the Congress’ alliance with the JD(S).</p>.<p>“In the past, too, you have made similar statements despite warnings,” Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) general secretary Haji Shafiullah stated in the notice to Rajanna on Tuesday. “This anti-party behaviour of yours has been viewed seriously.” Rajanna has been given three days to explain why the party should not take disciplinary action against him.</p>
