'Conspiracy to destroy democracy in WB'

Veteran Congress leader B Janardhana Poojary has said that there is a conspiracy to destroy democracy in West Bengal.

“Prime Minister Narendra Modi is dangerous to the country. He is a ‘shani’ to the country,” said Poojary.

Speaking to reporters on Monday, he said that he supports West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, who has been holding a ‘satyagraha’ to save democracy.

Poojary urged Prime Minister Modi to solve the problems in West Bengal immediately. “I will decide my future course of action to support Mamata Banerjee after looking at Supreme Court’s verdict,” he stated.

“I had politically trained Mamata Banerjee. Hence, I will support her,” he added.

Further, he said, “The Central government is harmful to the federal system of the country.”
