Several party workers had arrived in buses. The minister listened to their grievances on the occasion. </p>.<p>The party leaders explained the problems faced in villages. Speaking on the occasion, the minister promised to solve the problems in a phased manner. </p>.<p><strong>Covid rules violated</strong></p>.<p>Amid the surge in Covid-19 cases, the government had issued precautionary measures to be taken in tourist places.</p>.<p>In spite of it, everyone, including the minister, was seen violating the rules.</p>.<p>The party workers were seen not wearing a mask and not maintaining social distancing. </p>.<p>The minister also lost his cool when the reporters questioned him over the same.</p>.<p>“Nothing has happened in Covid. The intensity is not known,” said Yogeeshwar. </p>.<p>When asked about the CD row pertaining to Ramesh Jarkiholi, he said that he is not aware of the details in the issue. </p>.<p><strong>Appeal for promotion of tourism</strong></p>.<p>BJP leaders submitted a memorandum to the minister on the development works that need to be taken to promote tourism in Kodagu. </p>.<p>Kushalnagar BJP leaders, Mandala general secretary M D Krishnappa and others had met the minister. </p>.<p>In a memorandum, the leaders said that natural calamities in the last three years had cast a shadow on the tourism sector. The tourist spots are wearing a deserted look.</p>.<p>Those who are dependent on the tourism sector are inconvenienced. The government should release funds for the development of tourist spots, they appealed. </p>
