Though experts provided treatment to the elephant, it did not respond to the medication and breathed its last on Sunday, Range Forest Officer Kiran Kumar said at Mattigodu elephant camp.</p>.<p class="bodytext">DCF Shivashankar and ACF Shripathi conducted a spot inspection. Veterinary Officer Majid conducted a post-mortem of the elephant.</p>
