<p>Leader of the Opposition Leader Siddaramaiah on Saturday said that freedom of expression should not be hurt.</p>.<p>Addressing a gathering, after inaugurating Mysuru Photo Journalists Association, at Mysuru District Journalist Association here, Siddaramaiah said that a section of the media misinterprets him, but he welcomes it as it is a form of freedom of expression.</p>.<p>He said, “We have accepted the Constitution and the parliamentary system. The country has to function accordingly. It is not right to be anti-democratic.”</p>.<p>Siddaramaiah said that he reads newspaper, rather than watching television. Newspapers are more credible than TV media. Though reporters give proper news, editors or owners misinterpret them, he said.</p>.<p>Siddaramaiah shared the stage along with Chamundeshwari MLA G T Devegowda, who defeated him in the last Assembly election.</p>
