<p class="bodytext">In a bid to revive the age-old tradition of grandparents narrating stories to grandchildren, Early Learning Centre (ELC) kindergarten school and Centre for Advanced Learning (CFAL), Bejai-Kapikad, Mangaluru, will hold a ‘Gift a Story!’ contest. </p>.<p class="bodytext">Grandparents and others over 60 years of age may take part in the contest from anywhere in the world. </p>.<p class="bodytext">The stories for the contest may be original or local folk tales. The time limit is 5 minutes. Any language, prop or puppet may be used. Voice modulation or simple narration may be employed. Stories may be recorded using a mobile phone, camera or recorded at the ELC studio. </p>.<p class="bodytext">The entries must be sent via WhatsApp to 9900415934/ 7026314999 or mailed to teachers@elcindia.org, before December 14.</p>.<p class="bodytext">These stories will be played back during the celebration of Grandparents’ Day and Carnival at ELC/ CFAL.
