<p>Revenue Minister R V Deshpande on Wednesday said that the State government issued a notification on June 26 forming the Nadaprabhu Kempegowda Authority (NKA).</p>.<p>"The previous Congress government had decided to form the NKA. However, the NKA has been formed now. Steps were taken to celebrate Nadaprabhu Kempegowda Jayanti in 2017.</p>.<p>"It is the duty to recall works taken up by Kempegowda for the development of the land. The NKA will work to protect the tradition of Kempegowda," he said.</p>.<p>Deshpande did not find the allegations that the government was yet to take off to be true.</p>.<p>"The coalition government is strong and is discharging duties with more responsibility. The government will complete its tenure of five years," he said.</p>.<p>"Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy has fixed the date for presenting the budget. He has clarified that he won't change any programme included in the budget presented by former chief minister Siddaramaiah. A committee has been formed to complete Common Minimum Programme (CMP). The committee will hold the third meeting on June 29 to finalise the CMP," he said.</p>
