By evening, there was 7 feet of water flowing on the bridge.</p>.<p class="bodytext">The overflowing water on the bridge disrupted the movement of vehicles, inconveniencing students, office-goers and daily wage labourers.</p>.<p class="bodytext">It may be recalled that the bridge was inundated for 10 days following the rain last month.</p>.<p class="bodytext">As the new bridge constructed beside the old bridge is incomplete, vehicles have to use the Hosamata old bridge.</p>.<p class="bodytext">The water level in the River Nethravathi and Kumaradhara in Uppinangady has increased drastically.</p>.<p class="bodytext">The low lying areas in Ilanthila, Mata, Nattibailu, Kurpelu, Nekkiladi has been inundated.</p>.<p class="bodytext">If the water level continues to rise, then water from Nethravathi river will enter Sri Sahasralingeshwara Temple.</p>.<p class="bodytext">The disaster management team is camping in the region.
