<p>The state budget for 2021-22 will be presented in the first week of March, Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa said Wednesday.</p>.<p>The chief minister was speaking to media persons at Vidhana Soudha, after paying respects to former CM Kengal Hanumanthaiah on his 113th birth anniversary.</p>.<p>He said that the budget would be presented in the first week of March, but the exact date would be decided shortly. “The pre-budget meetings which are underway will be completed within a week’s time,” he said. On Wednesday, Yediyurappa held a series of pre-budget meetings with various departments. </p>.<p>As for the growing reservation demands from different communities in Karnataka, Yediyurappa said that he would make all efforts permissible within the constitutional framework to meet these demands.</p>.<p>“I will consult legal experts on the issue. We will implement whatever the law permits us to,” he assured.</p>
