All these years, practical marks were considered only for Science subjects. From the March/April 2024 exams, this has been extended to arts and commerce streams.

As a result, the pass percentages in these streams have reached 68.36 per cent and 80.94 per cent, respectively.

Students who are not happy with their results have the opportunity to appear for two more exams conducted by the KSEAB. The second examination will be held between April 29 and May 16.

Announcing the results on Wednesday, KSEAB officials said the marks cards of students who do not opt for a second examination will be issued within 30 days. The same can also be downloaded immediately from Digi-Locker.

Meanwhile, officials clarified that the KCET results will be announced only after the declaration of PUC 2 results.

“We have taken the KEA into confidence and requested to announce KCET results only after the declaration of results of the second examination,” said Ritesh Kumar, principal secretary of Dept of School Education and Literacy.
