<p class="title rtejustify">Kannada Vikas Shaikshanika Samajika Samskruthika Samste will organize open book examinations as an experiment to study the pros and cons of introducing such examinations in Karnataka.</p>.<p class="bodytext rtejustify">The exams will be held at Nrupatunga Kannada School, Ramakrishnanagar on August 7.</p>.<p class="bodytext rtejustify">It may be recalled that the Minister for Primary and Secondary education N Mahesh has been batting for open book examinations in schools. </p>.<p class="bodytext rtejustify">The one hour open book examination will be held for Class V to Class X students. Kannada, English, Hindi, Science and Social Science.<br /><br />"After the examination, we will prepare a detailed report and submit it for the government's consideration. The experiment aims to look into the pros and cons of holding open book exams," Samste secretary Sa Ra Sudarshan said. </p>
