<p class="title">As a part of the Mahamastakabhisheka celebrations, ‘Panchamahavaibhava,’ a ballet showcasing the life of first Tirthankara of Jainism—Adinatha or Rishabhanatha, was held in Dharmasthala on Monday.</p>.<p class="bodytext">The Panchamahavaibhava will be held till February 15 and the artistes will depict the life of Bahubali through enactment.</p>.<p class="bodytext">In fact, Ayodhya-Paudanapura Nagara, has been rereated at Dharmasthala for the purpose.</p>.<p class="bodytext">As a part of Panchamahavaibhava, the beginning of ‘Navayuga’ during the reign of Adinatha was enacted by the artistes.</p>.<p class="bodytext">The king was seen solving the problems faced by the citizens. The ballet also showed how king taught the men six main professions— Asi (swordsmanship for protection), Masi (writing skills), Krishi (agriculture), Vidya (knowledge), Vanijya (trade and commerce) and Shilp (crafts).</p>.<p class="bodytext">Adinatha’s wives Sunanda and Yashaswathi explaining their dreams where their sons have become a ruler (Bharatha) and other has renounced the worldly pleasure for ‘Moksha’ (Bahubali) was also enacted. ‘Balaleelotsava’ of Adinatha was staged by the children. Over 100 children were part of programme.</p>.<p class="bodytext">The halls readied for Panchamahavaibhava were decked up and looked like a palace.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Under the guidance of Hemavathi V Heggade and members of Heggade family, Theatre Director Jeevan Ram Sullia, and Ashok from Bengaluru have directed the ballet.</p>.<p class="bodytext">On February 12, ballet educating the children on ‘Brahmi Sundari,’ ‘Bharatha-Bahubali’ and other children of Adinatha Maharaja will be held. The Aksharabhyasa for the children will be initiated on the occasion.</p>.<p class="bodytext">On February 13—The Digvijaya procession of Bharathesha after winning continents to become a ruler, will be held to and fro from Dharmasthala to the banks of River Netharavathi.</p>.<p class="bodytext">On February 14—The ballet will showcase King Bharatha sending a message to Bahubali through minister to surrender and the war that follows between Bahubali and Bharatha will be enacted. Later, Bahubali develops a desire for renunciation and begins meditating with great resolve to attain omniscience.</p>.<p class="bodytext">On February 15—Darshana of Sri Adinatha Tirthankara, Bharata comes in all humility to Bahubali and worships Bahubali and Bahubali attaining omniscience (Kevala Gyana) will be enacted.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Acharya Sri 108 Vardhamana Sagar Ji Munimaharaja, Acharya Sri 108 Pushpadanta Sagar Ji Munimaharaj and others, who watched the Panchamahavaibhava and expressed their happiness.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Dharmadhikari D Veerendra Heggade said, “We should not become slaves to science and worldly pleasure.
