<p class="bodytext">Ramakrishna Paramahamsa used to question himself in order to discover the ultimate truth, said writer and critic Lakshmisha Tolpadi.</p>.<p class="bodytext">“The melancholy of understanding the self helped him understand the beauty of creation,” he stressed.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Tolpadi was delivering a special lecture as a part of the ‘Remembering Yugapurusha Paramahamsa Ramakrishna – An Exhibition and Reminiscences’. The programme was organised at the Ravindra Kalabhavana by English Association of University College.</p>.<p class="bodytext">“The answer given by Ramakrishna Paramahamsa to his disciple Narendra shows the height of the former’s knowledge,” said the critic.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Principal Dr Uday Kumar M A inaugurated the exhibition on Paramahamsa. He stressed on the importance of academics.</p>.<p class="bodytext">English Association coordinator Prof Pattabhirama Somayaji spoke on the importance of knowing and understanding the lives of great men like Paramahamsa.</p>.<p class="bodytext">A paper on Paramahamsa was presented by Harshith of II BA. Chelsea and Lavita read two parables.</p>
