Union Minister Nirmala Sitharaman concluded her two-day tour of Karnataka on July 2 where she reviewed ongoing projects, interacted with industry leaders from the biotech sector, and also reviewed the vaccination and Covid infrastructure.
Sitharaman visited the Institute of Bioinformatics and Applied Biotechnology at Electronic City in Bengaluru.
Speaking to reporters, she said,
FM Sitharaman interacted with officials at the Institute of Bioinformatics and Applied Biotechnology.
She also visited the 100-oxygenated bed Covid care facility at Karnataka Power Corporation Ltd's (KPCL) Yelahanka campus.
