<p>Leader of the Opposition in Legislative Council Kota Srinivas Poojary on Friday complained that he was not invited for the 84th Kannada Sahitya Sammelana, which was inaugurated in Dharwad.</p>.<p>“The leader of the Opposition party should have been invited as per protocol. Neither the government nor the Kannada Sahitya Parishat has contacted me. Perhaps, they feel I’m not needed there. Still, I wish the event success,” Poojary told reporters.</p>.<p>He also demanded a clarification from Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy on the steel flyover project. “When he was in Opposition, Kumaraswamy had opposed the project. He had even alleged kickbacks. Now, is he okay with the plan to revive the project that was shelved? He should clarify his stand,” Poojary demanded.</p>
