<p>A J Group of Institutions, under the guidance of its president A J Shetty, provided necessary relief materials, medicines, rice, clothes and basic medical items through two trucks and two motor cars to the flood affected victims in Kerala and Kodagu.</p>.<p class="bodytext">The trucks and motor cars were flagged off Shetty and SP Dr B R Ravikanthe Gowda from A J Medical College and Hospital campus. The newly appointed Bishop of Mangaluru Diocese Monsignor Peter Paul Saldanha graced the occasion.</p>.<p class="bodytext">At present, two medical teams at Alappuzha and Kodagu are providing the primary medical, paramedical support and assistance to the flood victims.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Shetty has already informed the Karnataka and Kerala chief ministers trough letters in this regard.</p>.<p class="bodytext">A team of 35 healthcare professionals from Fr Muller Medical College Hospital, including doctors, nurses and nursing aides, has extended a helping hand in reaching out to the flood-hit areas of Kodagu, Wayanad and surrounding regions in Kerala.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Richard Moly D’souza, under the guidance of Sullia Church priests Vincent D’Souza and Fr Paul D’souza, donated clothes worth Rs 20,000 to 25 persons from six families affected with the flood in Kodagu.</p>.<p class="bodytext">The families are residing at the house of K P Roberts, a member of Sullia Parish.</p>
