Republic Day function must on January 26th at Karnataka schools, colleges

The Primary and Secondary Education Department issued a circular to all schools and colleges on Saturday asking them to hold Republic Day function at their institutions. The schools were in confusion as the Republic Day fell on Sunday.

The department has also instructed all the schools and colleges to compulsorily display the portrait of architect of Indian Constitution, Bharat Ratna Dr B R Ambedkar during the celebrations.
