<p>Controversial Indian Revenue Service officer Sameer Wankhede - who is facing allegations and investigation fo seeking a bribe of Rs 25 crore vis-a-vis the Cordelia drugs-on-cruise bust case involving Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan, has received a death threat from a religious fanatic of Bangladesh.</p>. <p>Wankhede, an officer of the 2008 batch of IRS officers, is currently based in Chennai and posted as Additional Commissioner in the Directorate General of Taxpayer Services (DGTS). </p>. <p>Wankhede had made a formal complaint to the Mumbai Police of Mumbai, which had launched the investigations. </p>.Shah Rukh Khan gets death threats, security beefed up to Y+. <p>In a letter to the Goregaon police station, Wankhede informed them that he has received a “death threat" via an Instagram private message from a Bangladeshi national named Shishir Showmic. </p>. <p>He also attached screenshots of the person’s Facebook and Instagram profiles. </p>. <p>“…The threat is a continuation of the spate of death threats received continuously which I have informed your police station as and when received…,” said Wankhede in the letter.</p>. <p>Wankhede is under the scanner of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) vis-a-vis the Cordelia drugs-on-cruise case, when he was the Mumbai Zonal Director of Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB). The CBI has booked Wankhede for allegedly seeking a bribe of Rs 25 crore vis-a-vis the Cordelia drugs-on-cruise bust case involving Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan. The matter is sub-judice. </p>
