It is also imposing another 36 hours special block for Non-interlocking (NI) works in connection with extension of platforms 10/11 for accommodating 24 coaches trains at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus.</p>.<p>The CR has appealed to people to refrain from travelling unless it is absolutely necessary in view of the delays and curtailment in services.</p><p>“These blocks are essential for infrastructure upgradation and long term benefits. Passengers are requested to bear with the railway administration for the inconvenience caused,” a CR spokesperson said. </p>.<p>During the two simultaneous blocks 930 suburban services will be cancelled—161 services on Friday, 534 services on Saturday and 235 services on Sunday.</p><p>Besides, 444 suburban services will be short-terminated—7 services on Friday, 306 services on Saturday and 131 services on Sunday.</p><p>Another 446 suburban services will short-originate —307 services (Saturday) and 139 services (Sunday).</p>
