<p>Close on the heels of a couple murdering their two daughters suspected to be over blind belief in tantric rituals and reincarnation in Andhra Pradesh, a six-year-old boy was hacked to death by his own mother as a ‘sacrifice to God’ in Kerala on Sunday.</p>.<p>The shocking incident occurred at Poolakkad in Palakkad district in Kerala. Aamil, who was the youngest of the three sons of Sulaiman - Shahida couple, was found dead in their house. Shahida herself reported the matter to the police by around 4 am. She reportedly told the police that she offered her son as a sacrifice to God.</p>.<p>Police said that the prima facie information was that Shahida herself committed the crime and reported to the police. Further probe to know the provocation was on.</p>.<p>The body was found in a toilet in the house with deep injury on the neck and legs tied together. Sulaiman and the two other children were said to be unaware of the killing until the police reached the spot.</p>.<p>Local people told the police that they did not notice any problems with Shahida and she used to take good care of her sons.</p>.<p>Shahida, who is now learnt to be carrying, used to work as a teacher earlier. Sulaiman, who earlier worked aboard, is now working as a driver in Palakkad.</p>
