Need inclusive Parliament: CEC Sushil Chandra on under-representation of women in legislature

Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Sushil Chandra on March 26 highlighted the under-representation of women in Parliament.

Addressing 'Sansad Ratna awards' event in Delhi, Chandra said, “first Lok Sabha had 15 women MPs and 17th Lok Sabha has 78 but progress is still slow. We'll have to have a very inclusive Parliament."
