<p>Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari inaugurated ‘Scrapping Facilitation Centre’ of Maruti Suzuki Toyotsu India on November 23.</p>.<p>While addressing the inaugural function Union Minister said that Scrapping policy is an important solution to reduce pollution. </p>.<p>“We are encouraging ethanol, green hydrogen fuel...Scrapping policy is an important solution to reduce pollution. It will make auto industry more competitive in the international market; will get us (raw) materials at lower costs, therefore reducing production cost,” said Union Minister Gadkari. </p>.<p>“Our turnover of auto sector is Rs 7.5 lakh crores of which Rs 3 lakh crores is export. My aim is to make Indian auto industry to the volume of Rs 15 lakh crores within 5 years,” he added.</p>
