<p>Gaganjeet Bhullar put himself in prime position for his ninth Asian tour title as he carded a second successive six-under 65 to share the pole position with Thailand’s Jazz Janewattananond after the third round of Queen’s Cup in Pattaya on Saturday.</p>.<p>Bhullar moved from tied-3rd to share the first position with a total of 15-under 198.</p>.<p>Bhullar, who had blazed through the back nine of the Phoenix Gold Golf and Country Club on Friday with a six-under 29, shot four-under 31 on the same stretch on Saturday.</p>.<p>He was seven-under through 16 holes, before he bogeyed the 17th. He narrowly missed a birdie on par-5 18th and was joint first. Bhullar has had one bogey each day.</p>.<p>“I kept the ball in play today. I hit a lot of fairways and a lot of greens. I just kept on giving myself a lot of birdie opportunities," said Bhullar.</p>.<p class="CrossHead">Aditi shines </p>.<p>Aditi Ashok put herself in position for her best Major finish despite a bogey-bogey finish in the second round of the KPMG Women's PGA Championship in Kildeer, US on Friday.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Aditi, who was tied-31st at the 2017 Women’s PGA Championship, which is also her best Major finish, shot one-over 73 and is now lying T-21st with a 36-hole aggregate of 1-under 143.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Aditi was well on way to positioning herself in the top-10 at the halfway stage as she parred the first 15 holes and found her first birdie of the second round on the Par-4 16th hole. She finished a disappointing bogey-bogey for last two holes and dropped to 73.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Birthday girl, So Yeon Ryu, who turned 28, finished strong with birdies on 14, 15 and 17 to move into a share of the lead at 6-under par, along with first round leader Sung Hyun Park and 2016 KPMG Women's PGA Champion Brooke Henderson.</p>.<p class="CrossHead">Shubhankar makes cut</p>.<p class="title">Shubhankar Sharma bounced back from a first-round disappointment to make the cut at the HNA Open de France, carding a 2-under 69 in the second round.</p>.<p class="bodytext">The 21-year-old youngster, who has won twice in the ongoing European Tour season, totalled 3-over 145 to make the cut which fell at 4-over.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Earlier SSP Chawrasia (75-74) missed the cut.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Marcus Kinhult tamed Le Golf National with a stunning round of 65 that handed him a two-shot lead heading into the weekend.
