'Farmers forced to sell mustard below support price'
Former Haryana chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda on Saturday said the lack of storage facilities is forcing farmers to sell their mustard produce below the minimum support price (MSP). Hooda, who is Leader of the Opposition in the Haryana Assembly, said harvesting is almost complete in the state, but the state government will begin procurement of mustard from April 15.
