Nancy Pelosi meets Taiwanese President Tsai Ing-wen

United States House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on August 03 (local time) met President of Taiwan Tsai Ing-wen in Taipei. Pelosi landed in Taiwan on August 02 despite China’s continuous security threats.

She reaffirmed her unwavering commitment to supporting Taiwan's democracy. Pelosi landed in Taiwan as part of a Congressional delegation's tour of the Indo-Pacific region.
