Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Saturday said youngsters would not be using their mobile phones for 12 hours a day had there been no unemployment in the country.
Rahul Gandhi said this while addressing a gathering in Sambhal as part of his Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra.

After a public address, Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi will head to Hathras. After the lunch break, we will head to Agra, where Akhilesh Yadav will join the Yatra. The Yatra will conclude for the day at Dholpur, Rajasthan after the flag handover ceremony. It will resume on the 2nd of March, 2024.

"The RLD may have joined the NDA after attending four meetings of the I.N.D.I.A. coalition in Patna, Bengaluru, Mumbai, and New Delhi. This morning, however, the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra and Rahul Gandhi received an enthusiastic welcome from the workers and leaders of the original LD (Lok Dal) founded by Bharat Ratna Chaudhary Charan Singh. The Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra will go on a break from February 26 to March 1 to allow Rahul Gandhi fulfil his long-standing commitment to deliver two lectures at his alma mater Cambridge University in the UK on February 27 and 28. The yatra will then resume from Dholpur on March 2.
Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav, who joined the Yatra along with Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi, is currently addressing a large gathering in Agra.

Meanwhile, RLD chief Jayant Chaudhary took a dig at Rahul Gandhi saying "My best wishes to his (Rahul Gandhi) yatra. Hopefully, he won't come to Agra and Mathura and say people here are also alcoholic.". The comment was an apparent reference to the Congress leader, who had earlier said that he saw people in Varanasi lying on the road after consuming alcohol.
Meanwhile, Rahul Gandhi stepped up his attack on the Modi govt, saying, " If you are poor then you will face injustice in this country 24 hours... The reason for hatred is injustice, so we have added the word justice in our journey."

The Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra has completed its UP leg and will now move to Rajasthan. Congress General Secretary handed over the national flag to Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee chief Govind Dotasra.
From February 26 to March 1, the Yatra will have a break as Rahul Gandhi is travelling to UK to deliver two special lectures at his alma mater Cambridge University in the UK on February 27 and February 28. The Yatra will resume from Rajasthan's Dholpur on March 2.
