Congress has sensed the possibility of early elections in BJP the BJP ruled states of Haryana, Maharashtra and Jharkhand. Originally due for this year-end, they may be advanced and occur along with the Lok Sabha elections in April-May. According to The Economic Times report, the party is preparing for the polls by energizing its machinery in theses states.

The tenure Assembly in Maharshtra and Haryana will end in October while the Jharkhand is going for voting in December this year.

As per the report, both AICC leaders and PCC leaders have started preparation towards the possible polls.

In Haryana, the Congress will focus on the failures of Manohar Lal Khattar government to attract voters. Congress is working towards a grand allaince of all non-BJP parties in Jharkhand including JMM, RJD and JVM to defeat BJP led by chief minister Raghubar Das.

The Congress in Maharashtra is fighting the Lok Sabha with the support of Sharad Pawar's NCP and hope for the same for Assembly polls too. The party is also thinking to garner votes out of Shiv Sena's ruining relationship with BJP in the state.
