Taking a dig at AICC president Rahul Gandhi for asking a proof of air strike on terror camps on Pakistan soil, BJP state president B S Yeddyurappa on Sunday said since the Congress president (Rahul) enjoyed a good relationship with Pakistan, he should visit that country and count the bodies of the terrorists killed in the strike.
Speaking to reporters at MP Suresh Angadi’s residence here, Yeddyurappa said, “The Union Home Minister has clarified that the airstrike was a targeted mission and that the very objective of destroying the terror camps was more important than the number of terrorists killed.”
He said, “The Congress was reduced to 47 seats in Lok Sabha in 2014 elections. They don’t even have enough numbers to become principal opposition. But Rahul Gandhi is daydreaming to become the prime minister,” he ridiculed.
