Andhra Pradesh Assembly Election Results Highlights| YS Jagan Mohan Reddy resigns, TDP-led alliance to come back to power in Andhra

The NDA is heading towards a landslide victory as they maintain a lead in over 160 seats, much to the dismay of the incumbent YSRCP. TDP itself is ahead in more than 130 seats, with their NDA-ally JSP overtaking YSRCP to take the the second spot. TDP supporters and workers have already began celebrations as a change in power looks inevitable. TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu is in the lead from Kuppam constituency, while YSRCP supremo Jagan Mohan Reddy leads from Pulivendla. Polling to elect members to the 175-seat Legislative Assembly was held on May 13, alongside the Lok Sabha elections. The end of the day saw the TDP-led alliance emerging victorious and YSRCP suffering a crushing defeat.
