"INDI alliance is such an alliance which only protects the corrupt and the rapists. This is an anti-women and anti-social alliance. Despite having a woman Chief Minister in West Bengal, TMC leaders were dishonouring mothers and sisters in Sandeshkhali inside the TMC office itself. The Kolkata incident makes one's soul tremble. In Uttar Pradesh, a SP leader raped a 15-year-old girl. The Congress party does not take even a minute to raise the slogan 'Ladki hun lad sakti hun' but when it comes to Bengal and Uttar Pradesh, it maintains silence," BJP MP Bansuri Swaraj told ANI.
Ram Jatan Sinha, who quit Congress in 2012, rejoined party in the presence of party leader Pawan Khera in Delhi. Sinha joined the JD(U) in 2019, but left the party next year after he was reportedly denied poll ticket.
"Ram Jatan Sinha went away from us due to some reasons in 2012, but could not go to anyone else... Our generation has a lesson to learn from Ram Jatan ji that a flower of Congress party can only grow in bloom in Congress bed," said Congress leader Pawan Khera.
