<p>Chitradurga: The Chitradurga Rural Police have registered a FIR against Shimoga BJP candidate B Y Raghavendra on the charge of using Bhovi Gurupeeta for political purpose and thus violating model code of conduct.</p><p>Raghavendra had visited the Mutt on Saturday and held a meeting with some seers. It is alleged in the FIR that Raghavendra misused the religious place and he campaigned without obtaining prior permission.</p><p>Raghavendra had stated that the upcoming Lok Sabha election is a “Dharma Yuddha” between “national” and “anti-national” forces. The election officials had lodged a complaint based on the video clipping of his speech.</p>
